Note that most meetings are at St Mary's Church (see Our Home) and start at 11 AM. About once a month, usually on the second Saturday, there is an additional session at 2:15 as noted. Twice a month we meet jointly with City Lights. One of these joint meetings is at the City Lights location at Quaker Center (see our directions page).

He is also completing his doctoral research in Theology from the University of Birmingham in England. David graduated from Newbold College in England and then served the Adventist Church as a pastor for 12 years. His wife, Ruth, is an Assistant Professor of English at Atlantic Union College.

History Series: Dr Terry Anderson  Morning Topic: Virgil's The Aeneid and Christian and Jewish Parallels   Notes: During my most recently reading of Virgil's The Aeneid, and in addition to the obvious parallels with Homer (earlier) and Dante (later), I was struck by the number of parallels between Roman worship and Jewish and Christian practice. I thought it would be interesting to explore some of these.

Joint Service: Stuart Gill  Morning Topic: Virtual Tour of the Universe   Notes: Joint Meeting with City Lights. The presentation will be at Columbia University, Physics Dept. in 1332 Pupin Hall. Using their new state-of-the-art technology. Enter campus at 116th street and Broadway through the large main gates. (Other gates are locked on weekends.) Walk straight to the large open area, then turn left as soon as you can, walking up the large stairs. Continue walking in this general direction until you reach the last building. You will be heading North; at the Northwest corner of campus, you will find the Pupin building, and Laura Bothwell will be there in the front to greet you. If you have any trouble, there are plenty of campus maps around, and people are also generally friendly and happy to help give directions.
