Current Schedule of Meetings

We have a presentation and discussion once a month, usually on the second Sabbath. Most of our meetings are at St Mary's Church (see Our Home) and start at 2:00 PM but watch the schedule for exceptions.

Guest Speaker: Dr Abraham Terian  Afternoon Topic: TBA   Bio: Dr. Abraham Terian is Emeritus Professor of Armenian Theology and Patristics at St. Nersess Armenian Seminary, New York, where he also served as Academic Dean and edited the St. Nersess Theological Review for 12 years (the only Western-language periodical on Armenian Theology). Prior to his time at St. Nersess, he was Professor of Inter-testamental and Early Christian Literatures at Andrews University for twenty years, and for four years a recurring Visiting Professor for Armenian Studies and Hellenistic Judaism at the University of Chicago. He is an internationally renowned expert in the fields of Hellenistic, early Christian and medieval Armenian studies, fields in which he has published extensively (including ten books, the last of which is The Festal Works of St. Gregory of Narek, 2016). As a Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor at the Hebrew University, in 2005 he became the first recipient of the Fulbright Distinguished Chair in the Humanities award by the Fulbright Foundation and the US–Israel Educational Foundation. In 2008 he was elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, and has served as a Fellow of the Ambrosian Academy of Milan.   Notes: We meet together for lunch at 2:00 with presentation and discussion at 3:00.
